Uve Nobili: the ancient art of drying grapes between the Langhe hills and environmental fragrances

Appassimento, the drying of grapes, is an ancient technique developed to extend the life of wine beyond the harvest season. As early as the time of the Greeks and Romans, bunches of grapes were left to dry on racks or hung up, concentrating sugars and aromas to produce sweet, long-lived wines: this is the origin of passito wine, treasured for centuries as a symbol of hospitality and celebration.

In Piedmont, this tradition found fertile ground: among the hills of the Langhe, grapes for drying become a memory of must, wood, and ripe fruit, a heritage that belongs to the landscape as much as to the palate.

At Acqua delle Langhe, we wanted to encapsulate this heritage in a home fragrance: Uve Nobili was inspired by the ancient technique of drying grapes, blending wild strawberry grape juice, raspberry, and earthy notes. Its intense red hue, with garnet reflections, conveys the same strength and sweetness found in Piedmontese passito wines.

A home fragrance designed for those who love powerful emotions and want to bring vitality and elegance into every room.
