Why the name Le Rocche?
With the Acqua delle Langhe blog, we take you behind the scenes of the company's creativity and explain where the names of our fragrances come from.
Le Rocche is inspired not only by its ingredients, but also by the refinement that has always distinguished the wonderful Roero area, which, compared with the Langhe - including in its wines - is often more refined, thanks to the clay soils typical of this geographical area.
This home fragrance is dedicated to spring and beyond: precisely because, as Acqua delle Langhe, we want to spread the beauty of the entire Piedmontese region, not limiting ourselves to the Langhe alone.
Le Rocche is the name that quintessentially represents Roero to the locals, and it is the fragrance dedicated to this extraordinary territory, whose sandy, calcareous soils stand out in imposing gullies that suddenly break up the landscape, creating rocky bastions and canyons hundreds of metres deep.
These rock formations expose the hillside, revealing the soft colours of the sandstone, which turn a delicate pink in the light of the most intense sunsets.
🌸 This is also why the powder pink colour was chosen: an intense reference to that unmistakable landscape and those serene atmospheres.
