Why the name Le Rocche?
With the Acqua delle Langhe blog, we take you a little behind the scenes of the company's creativity and explain where the names of our fragrances come from.
Le Rocche is inspired not only by the ingredients but also by the finesse that has always characterized the wonderful Roero territory, which, compared to the Langhe—even in terms of wine—are often more refined, thanks to the clay soils typical of this geographical area.
This home fragrance is dedicated to spring and beyond: precisely because, as Acqua delle Langhe, we want to spread the beauty of the entire Piedmont region, not limiting ourselves only to the Langhe.
Le Rocche is the name that represents Roero par excellence for the locals, and it is the fragrance dedicated to this extraordinary territory, whose sandy and calcareous lands stand out in impressive gullies that suddenly break the landscape, creating rock bastions and canyons hundreds of meters deep.
These "rocche" (crags) expose the belly of the hill, showing the soft colors of the sandstone, which, in the light of the most intense sunsets, are tinged with a delicate pink.
🌸 This is also why the choice of the powder pink color, an intense reference to that unmistakable landscape and those serene atmospheres.
